NICK HERD ‘ANOTHER GREEN WORLD

Jerico Contemporary was pleased to present Nick Herd ‘Another Green World’, the artists’ third solo presentation with the gallery. Taking place off-site in New South Wales’ oldest glasshouse, the Palm House in the Botanic Gardens of Sydney was held earlier this year.

Known for his thick application of paint, Herd has carved out a recognisable style distinctly his own. With a sophisticated palette and distinct material restraint; the artist captures movement and life with every textured stroke. In his latest series ‘Another Green World’ the artist delves into the passing of time, capturing day as it fades into night.

PAIGE NORTHWOOD X EUPHEME

We were delighted to present Australian artist Paige Northwood In Residence at EUPHEME. The curation brings together a series of ten works by the artist comprised of works on paper, ceramic sculptural tablets and paintings. Where the interconnectedness between place, spirituality, and transformation have informed her earlier bodies of work, her recent series witnesses the artist go inward like never before. Born from deeply personal experiences while meditating, her recent work explores the nuances of our internal worlds. In particular Northwood's curiosity about brainwave states during meditation, transcendental experiences, and the spaces.
